The Benevolent Fund

The objective of the Benevolent Fund is to assist needy Danes, domiciled in Gauteng, who through ill health, old age or any other misfortune, are unable to support themselves.

The money is kept in a separate account from the Danish Society’s other assets. Donations of  maximum 20% from the funds capital can be drawn each year. The Benevolent Fundis administered by the current Chairmen.

The Chairman requires acceptance from at least one of the Trustees to make funds available. Only the trustees have signing power.

All other rules apply to the existing DS Constitution.
